Before anything else, I'd like to wish dear friends a blessed Easter weekend. :) Time to do reflections and count our blessings.
Take time to smell the flowers, enjoy little things in life, and learn new things. Most important thing is, tell your family, especially your mom, that you love her. Her presence is the most beautiful thing you can have on Earth. :)
Anyway, I've been super duper busy with projects and thesis. Last minute preparations and dealing with group members who love to copy and paste things from any source they can get. Solution to the latter? Dismiss them and do not put their names in the reports. I just don't understand what university students learn from lectures. Lecturers have made it clear that plagiarism is ABSOLUTELY prohibited and distasteful, and yet students still love to take the easy way out; Copy + Paste= Easy Job.
If I wanted a copy+paste job, I would have done it myself, as Google has plenty of sources. I prefer peeps who show efforts in their assignments and know what they are supposed to do, rather than sending me an email of a copy+paste job. I'm just very tired of this kind of attitude that I have tolerated with since my first year. I appreciate hard work and proper citations.
Anyway, I went out with Farah and Mandy a few days back to the Spring. It has been a while since I last went to the Spring, so in the midst of crazy presentation schedule, Spring was our great escape.
During HRIS presentation.
At Jalan Song's Starbucks.
My boyfriend and I went for steamboat dinner to celebrate our monniversary (monthly anniversary??).
Dear John? Haha.
Of course, some baking too. There were 2 cupcakes order last weekend, and I had a blast creating new designs!
Making the buttercream. Beating the cooked egg whites to a soft peak.
Cupcakes before icing.
Chocolate cupcakes for Ophelia's mum. Her second order. Thanks!
It took me a few good minutes to get a black colored icing. Ironically, a black cream coloring doesn't work! I had to mix and mix until the icing turned black.
Vanilla oreo cupcakes for Nana. Sunflower theme. :) Thanks!
My juniors' EBX sale at Chancellory ground.
Last but not least, I bought a new rabbit last week. Its name is Mojo, and is of German breed. Adorable!
Have a marvelous weekend. :)
