As you all might have known or just knew, I'm a beach addict. I thrive for soft sands and long for the waves crashing the shores. If I had another life before this, I'd be living by the beach and having my long walks with a Golden Retriever by my side every morning. Apart from fun fairs, this is the place that I can really unwind and act like a kid fed with candies.
I went to Holiday Chalet Sematan resort with my boyfriend and his family for a mini getaway. I can never resist any invitation to go to the beach, NEVER. It took us about an hour and 30 minutes to reach Sematan, and by the time we reached there, I ran out of the car with my bag on my shoulder to the beach. I threw my bag on the beach and immersed my feet into the sea.
It felt like being in a real plush and exclusive resort, because the beach is super long and the sea is blue! I immediately felt like Allie in The Notebook movie. Remember the scene where she was saying, "I'm a bird!" at the beach?
In just less than 24 hours, 200++ pictures were taken, but there's no way I'll post every of it here. Most of them are in my Facebook, so feel free to browse them if you're my friend. :)
On our way to Sematan.
Sheer bliss!
Kids' castle. Imagination runs wild.
San mei mei & his swimming trunk.
One tip for beach & swimming pool trips- Always bring a hair mask or conditioner. Slather on your DRY hair thoroughly before you dip in. It's a miracle to combat very dry hair due to chlorine and salt water!
San mei mei. Hehe
Monster. T_T
Cheese!
Waka waka?
Love this pic.
:D
Me & you, just us two.
Sunset at Sematan. Breathtaking.
We walked around the beach at night with torch lights to capture the night creatures. Look at this lonely frog.
With them. :)
I took an early morning walk at the beach around 7am. It was serene and I felt so at peace.
Morning world! :)
Then, it was swimming time again at 9.30 am!
Before heading to town.
At Sematan's pier.
Heading home. :) Perfect getaway.
