Take a risk.

One of the songs that really reflect my life at the moment is Kelly Clarkson- Breakaway. Relatives and friends have asked me when I'll start working or studying again. Well, I've sent out my Masters application a few days ago and they're still processing it, last I checked. 
About work, no. I received a job offer the other to work at a kindergarten, I might accept it. I love kids, and it's a good start for everything. In my opinion, I just don't want to be stuck in a rut too early and too fast. Too often I hear people sigh out their frustration at work. Burnout is common and it doesn't matter how long you've been working in the company. My mom had a pretty stable job yet she had reached the plateau stage many, many years ago.
It's pretty difficult to take on a different path in my family because everyone is so used to routines and doing similar things. I just want something else in my life that my mum never got the chance to do; To breakaway. I'm 21, and girls who are 21 years old are doing what 21 year olds do; partying, dating, meeting new people and venturing out. I'm not a party girl, therefore my way to breakaway is just to enjoy my friends' companies at cafes and cinemas, mini vacations and traveling. 
I'm looking forward to my Sabah trip in September. It's just something I had been planning with my mum before I entered my third year. I initially planned to go to KL and Langkawi, but my boyfriend made me change my mind. Good thing, because I can go to Labuan, where all the cheap chocolates are! :D Let's just see if I can still remember the roads there. 
Life's indeed to short. But choose your paths and actions wisely. It doesn't mean that it is short, it is a pass for everything in this world.
